Star Hospitals Wins Prestigious AHPI Leadership Award for Quality and Safety

Star Hospitals was selected as a winner at the 1st Edition of AHPI (Association of Healthcare Providers – India) Leadership Awards 2025, a national-level recognition for excellence in healthcare leadership. The award will be presented on September 19, 2025, at Taj Deccan, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

This year, AHPI, which represents 20,000+ hospital memberships across India, introduced its first-ever Leadership Awards to celebrate excellence in governance, quality, innovation, financial stewardship, patient-centered service, staff engagement, and community impact.

In its inaugural edition, the awards were launched across six categories. Star Hospitals applied for the category “Leadership Engagement in Quality and Safety”, which evaluates hands-on leadership involvement in driving quality care and patient safety.

Following a rigorous process, the AHPI technical team visited Star Hospitals, interacted with the staff, assessed systems, and reviewed internal practices. Based on their evaluation, Star Hospitals was selected for the award, making it one of the proud winners of this prestigious national-level recognition.

The award will be conferred on Dr. Rahul Medakkar at the grand ceremony on September 19, 2025.
